This is a little reminder that love lasts a long time. Each beautiful heart is hand carved from Kenyan soapstone or "kisii" found in the Tabaka hills of Western Kenya. The stone is then dyed and painted by artisan families and sold with the help of the Muungano Artist Self-Help Group which supports education, community development and AIDS treatment efforts.
